Walter Kruk and his wife Aleka became known as the ‘Ocean Nomads’ because they would disappear to sail the islands at every opportunity. Fifteen years ago they started taking friends, and later friends of friends, on sailing holidays through the Greek Islands. It grew into a small business trading as Ocean Nomads. Due to high demand Ocean Nomads has grown and is reborn as GREEK ISLAND YACHT HOLIDAY, a company dedicated to providing the best possible holiday opportunity for visitors to the Greek Islands. Walter has hand-picked a selection of the best yachts and crews available and now offers custom one to four-week cruises on private yachts for customers from all corners of the world.

The Greek Islands offer an amazing selection of unique experiences that have enchanted visitors for thousands of years. Over the past century, they have attracted ever-increasing numbers of tourists. Walter is our skipper and driving force behind Ocean Nomads. With a Royal Yachting Skipper License, you can trust him to take you and your loved ones on a pleasant cruise. Walter loves to instruct people and can teach you everything about sailing. With many years of experience as professional skipper and host on board, he knows the ins and outs of the yachts we work with and the routes we suggest.
