The Biblia Chora Estate managed to win five additional gold and two silver awards during the competition, for the seven different varieties of wine it produces.

The ”Sole Semillon” wine which won the ultimate mark of distinction among Greek wines is produced exclusively from grapes harvested in October which present the special characteristic of ”noble rot,” which gives the wine a unique flavor and texture.

Every year, as part of the ”Citadelles du Vin” event, over fifty top-level wine tasters from all over the world meet in Bourg, near the French city of Bordeaux, for several days. They are tasked with choosing the absolute best wines out of more than one thousand samples coming from more than forty countries.
