It comes to no surprise that Greece makes it on every list with popular places to visit, but now Greeks have one more reason to celebrate as their country has just been named one of the \u2018Most Hospitable Places in the World\u2019 in the latest report released by Booking.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The distinction came in the seventh edition of Bookimg.com\u2019s annual report as part of their Guest Review Awards for 2018.<\/p>\n

In the report, guests evaluate of hundreds of thousands of properties across 219 countries and territories and the awards are announced based on which countries feature the most welcoming and highly rated locations and establishments.<\/p>\n

Greece\u2019s amazing landscapes and archaeological sites as well as its budding nightlife not to mention great food have been praised numerous times placing it in the most \u201cvisit-worth\u201d top ten of destinations alongside\u00a0Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, New Zealand, Taiwan, Romania, Hungary, Ireland and Serbia.<\/p>\n

With a major part of the Greek economy heavily based on tourism,\u00a0booking.com highly suggests\u00a0the home of \u201cfiloxenia\u201d which stands for \u201clove of strangers\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
