Abraxas – X Yacht 50

The X-50 offers a top class sailing experience. Stunning look, exceptionally high quality, top materials and Danish design.

Danish design and architecture with clean lines are what makes Abraxas stand out. A sense of luxury prevails all over the boat without compromising functionality for living on board while at sea or at a port.

She has 1 master suite with its own bathroom, 2 aft cabins each with a WC with shower as well as a skipper’s cabin with separate access. A spacious galley with heating and a kitchen at starboard side with top materials that you simply can’t find on “standard” charter sailboats.

The Exterior has clean lines, full teak in cockpit, twin wheels, electric winches, flush deck, removable cockpit table, cockpit floor led lighting.

A competitive boat when sailed with a full crew and at the same time easily handled by our skipper with a couple or a family.
This X-yacht has great stability, very good upwind performance, has a smooth passage through the waves, and low drag for light winds. She is the ultimate luxury cruiser in her class.

Your private skipper will help you to plan your holiday itinerary, answer your questions, arrange activities and tours, see to your comfort, and ensure you enjoy great meals ashore. If you like to be really pampered during your sailing cruise ask if one of our cooks is available.

Abraxas does not have a fixed crew on board like many larger yachts. Depending on availability at the time of booking we will appoint a skipper that suits your party.

The holiday cost varies according to season and destination but starts from € 5250,- per week including the skipper.

ABRAXAS is normally booked per week starting on Saturday. In low and mid season we can be more flexible with start and end dates and the duration of your trip.

A one-week sailing holiday can be combined with island stays. We also organize one-way trips from Athens into the Cyclades at extra costs.

A minimum of 2 weeks is required to enjoy the full Cyclades experience, including Santorini and Mykonos or a full exploration of the Micro Cyclades if you like to go off-the-beaten-track.

The holiday cost includes a skipper, VAT, and cleaning. If you like a hostess/cook on board that will be €150,- per day extra or just a hostess deckhand €130,- per day. When sailing with two crew members one of the guest cabins will be occupied by them.

An additional charge is made to cover fuel and provisioning. This is called the APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) and averages around 15%-20% of the holiday cost depending on the number of guests and your provisioning wishes.

At the end of your cruise, the APA accounting is finalized and you receive a refund or an invoice to make up the exact amount.

To confirm your holiday booking a 50% downpayment is required, with the balance paid one month before departure.

Our cancellation policies can be found in our terms and conditions of booking.

Best vacation of my life! I was hesitant about being on a sailboat with 2 toddlers, but Walter's abilities and attention to our family (along with his wife, loveliest ever, Aleca) made us feel right at home and in trustworthy hands. Walter considered all of our needs and wishes and was willing to go out of his way at any point and time. I not only hold this trip dear to my heart, but Walter and Aleca as well.

Since 2007, Walter has been our skipper every summer. Sailing in the Mediterranean is my favorite summer experience. So many unforgettable memories. Walter is a great sailor and a fantastic skipper. He quickly became a friend and someone we enjoy having with us on the boat, at dinner, etc, summer after summer. Walter knows the Med very well - the swimming spots, the good tavernas, the marinas and the anchoring spots, the local hidden bars and other gems. Highly recommended.

We spent one week touring Athens and the surrounding area and then ten days touring the islands by sailboat. One of the highlights was swimming in the caldera at Santorini and another was watching the pod of dolphins swim by the sailboat. Walter and his wife, who's a fabulous cook, we're the most gracious hosts. Walter arranged for everything we could ask for. We loved our vacation and would do it again in a heartbeat. You can't go wrong with Ocean Nomads!

My family sailed with Walter and his wife and we had the most amazing vacation. The sailboat was in perfect condition, the sites changed every day and were beautiful, his wife prepared fresh meals for us every day from the different local markets where the boat docked. We highly recommend this experience of a lifetime to anyone.
