The Moody Deck Saloon ‘one level living’ concept takes a unique approach to modern yacht design. Simply open the sliding doors and enjoy a panoramic view of the living area and spacious cockpit, all on the same level. The large cockpit contains a smart table as standard while the open deck aft is ideal for spending time with family and friends.
The Moody DS45 is designed to make sailing a pleasure. The self-tacking jib ensures easy and safe handling for a small crew, supported by powerful winches. The yacht can be simply maneuvered from the helm station, with all sails easily adjustable from the helmsman’s position. Everyone onboard this yacht will feel totally safe thanks to the solid continuous bulwark and guardrail, which offers all-around security.
Protected by a sliding bimini, the large cockpit serves the ideal social area in all weather conditions. When the swimming platform is open, access to the sea is just two steps away. Attention is paid to every detail, including the spacious storage compartments and the ergonomic fiddles and handrails. Even with a party underway outside there is still an opportunity to enjoy peace and quiet in the deck saloon. This area is also home to the navigator’s seat and chart table, with ample space for extensive passage planning.

Your private skipper will help you to plan your holiday itinerary, answer your questions, arrange activities and tours, see to your comfort, and ensure you enjoy great meals ashore. If you like to be really pampered during your sailing cruise ask if one of our cooks is available.
Skipper Walter Kruk
Walter — a friendly and experienced Dutch skipper — has been sailing Greek waters since 2006.
He speaks English, Dutch, German and a bit of Greek and has logged more than 15,000 nautical miles in monohulls and catamarans up to 65’.
He loves the sea and outdoors, and in winter can be found hiking and exploring offroad destinations in his Landrover Defender.
RYA Yachtmaster Coastal with MCA commercial endorsement, complete STCW95, and current first aid certificate.

The Moody 45 Deck Saloon does not have a fixed crew on board like many larger yachts. Depending on availability at the time of booking we will appoint a skipper that suits your party.

HOLIDAY PRICES
The holiday cost varies according to season and destination but starts from € 4450,- per week including the skipper.
The Moody 45 Deck Saloon is normally booked per week starting on Saturday. In low and mid season we can be more flexible with start and end dates and the duration of your trip.
A one-week sailing holiday can be combined with island stays. We also organize one-way trips from Athens into the Cyclades at extra costs.
A minimum of 2 weeks is required to enjoy the full Cyclades experience, including Santorini and Mykonos or a full exploration of the Micro Cyclades if you like to go off-the-beaten-track.
The holiday cost includes a skipper, VAT, and cleaning. If you like a hostess/cook on board that will be €150,- + VAT per day extra or just a hostess deckhand €130,- + VAT per day.
An additional charge is made to cover fuel and provisioning. This is called the APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) and averages around 15%-20% of the holiday cost depending on the number of guests and your provisioning wishes.
At the end of your cruise, the APA accounting is finalized and you receive a refund or an invoice to make up the exact amount.
To confirm your holiday booking a 50% downpayment is required, with the balance paid one month before departure.
